100,000 Steps in Belize

Well, the count is in and the pedometer is tipping the 110,000 step mark. That’s right, we’ve clocked approximately 50 miles this week in our Belizean excursions in and out of watery caves, up and down ancient ruins, and back and forth on San Ignacio’s streets. It’s been a delightful experience, and today we said goodbye to our wonderful hosts, Peter and Jenny.

Peter and Jenny went above and beyond to communicate with us, answer questions, and make whatever local arrangements we needed along the way. They gave us a taste of authentic Belizean living, and we are grateful for all the memories we are taking with us as we return home today!
